Gravity Bridge ~$5.4M cross-chain exploit (suspected signing-key compromise)
Public-source DeFi incident reconstruction. On May 30, 2026, Gravity Bridge (a cross-chain bridge connecting Ethereum and the Cosmos ecosystem) lost roughly $5.4M from its Ethereum-side contract. Multiple security firms attribute the loss to a SUSPECTED SIGNING-KEY / CONTRACT-KEY COMPROMISE rather than a smart-contract logic bug. PeckShieldAlert itemized the stolen assets as $4.3M USDC, 274 ETH ( $553k), $434k USDT, and $64k PAYG tokens.
