In early 2024, a large amount of data from DemandScience (a company owned by Pure Incubation) was put up for sale on a popular hacker forum. The leak, which was subsequently attributed to a leak from a decommissioned legacy system, contained a vast amount of data, mostly consisting of company contact information collected from publicly available sources. Specifically, the data included 122 million unique corporate email addresses, physical addresses, phone numbers, employers and job titles. Also included were names and, for many users, links to their LinkedIn profiles.
